About our study program

The media industry itself, industrial companies and commerce are looking for media experts who combine management and technical skills and develop practice-orientated solutions.

This study program offers an unique curriculum that combines the challenges of digital media solutions with the computer science industry. The students can follow their interests and qualify for advanced and future-oriented jobs. The project areas range from digital publishing products via mobile information applications to business models in social networks.

A modern study program with a modular structure will lead to the internationally recognised Bachelor‘s degree (Bachelor of Science).

Professional studies combined with media orientation
Our students will learn about the basics of media economics and media management, know and understand media processes. The introductory courses in the basics of business and information technology are the foundation for the core subjects of a media-oriented information systems.

Choice of curricular profile 
In the main course the students choose their professional focus within the wide range of optional courses. From the 4th Semester on, the students can choose courses with supervised projects and events. They will deepen the development of innovative business and service models and their implementation in business (e.g. management of business processes and application systems, Business Intelligence and IT management as well as Big Data scenarios). 

Practice orientation
A strong focus on practical orientation and the cooperation with reputable companies are self-evident for us. Like the focus on the SAP application systems and on the media industry.

Length of study
The curriculum is planned for seven semesters and has the degree „Bachelor of Science“. In the program is a practical term integrated.

Courses in English language
Teaching language is German. But some of the courses especially the ones which are part of the Minor "Business Analytics" are offered in English.
